REQUEST FOR BIDS-DEMOLITION
The Housing Authority of the City of Roswell, Georgia, is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the demolition of four (4) residential duplexes and one (1) maintenance building, all single stories. All work must be coordinated with and permitted by the City of Roswell. The demolition is subject to final approval by HUD and is part of the redevelopment process and conversion of public housing to RAD project based rental assistance. USED METAL BUILDING SPECIFICATIONS FOR SALE
The building is pre-engineered metal structure, KIRBY model, 6,000 s.f. 120 'long, 50' wide, 16 'tall at peak, 12' at roof line. Former use is a VFW hall. Building to be sold as is, dismantled and removed by purchaser. Included is the entire building as stands, 3 A/C heat units, walk in freezer, all electrical, and amenities. There are four (4) single entrance doors and one (1) double entrance doors. Building must be removed in accordance with City of Roswell permit policies. Appropriate insurances must be presented. Not included in the sale/removal is the floor and slab. The building will be sold to the highest bidder. This is not a disposition of a HUD funded property.
