ROSWELL HOUSING AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT RECOGNITION PROGRAM
A proposal formulated by the administration and the Tenant Council to recognize and reward the achievements of resident youth living at the Roswell Housing Authority was approved by the Board of Commissioners at the June 2012 meeting. The program provides financial incentive rewards for youth graduating from high school or being promoted into high school and also recognizes persons achieving a GED.
The picture below is the first recognition award presented July 30, 2012 from the Board and Tenant Council to Kyle Quinn, a recent graduate of North Springs Charter High School. Kyle is the son of Loretta Perry. Kyle is being congratulated by (L-R) Executive Director, Scott Marcelais and Board members, Leslie Carruth, Jack McGinnis, Dan Pile, and Tenant Council Treasurer Vincent Scrutchins. Kyle plans to begin attending college in the spring of 2013 and would like to become a Computer Programmer.
